KeenLace 2002 | ||

I created this piece for KeenLace 2002,
the KeenSpace artists' response to the annual BiKeeni event put on by KeenSpot.
The idea is to draw your characters in swimwear (for BiKeeni) or pajamas/underwear
(for KeenLace). Depending on who you ask, this is either supposed to generate
publicity or allow comic artists to listen (more than usual) to their perverted side.
This image features a lot of firsts for me. It's my first attempted use of color. It's my first attempt at shading (which turned out pretty cool looking, in my opinion). And it's my first experience ever of drawing a naked dwarf. The general consensus among people who have already seen this went very much along the lines of "Argh!" or "Oh, Lord" or "MY EYES!" When I drew this piece, I had already completed strip #51, though only the first five were available online. Those of you looking at this from the future may notice a clever gimmick used to hide a possible spoiler. It's actually not that clever, I just like to sound smart.
