Doug
Doug is often called a munchkin, but the truth is that he can actually role-play. He just usually likes to role-play characters who can easily beat the living daylights out of everything. Combined with his uncanny luck with dice of any sort, this makes
Doug's characters the most lethal things this side of the Monstrous Manual. His character sheets are full of things such as half-elven mage/cleric demigods, armor-plated, jetpacking cyborgs, and of course, muscle-bound dwarven warriors.

Hew Ironbound
Hew is a muscle-bound dwarven warrior. Hew, Shirk, and Pungent formed a team some time ago
(#26) because, if they hadn't, someone would have had to come up with another reason for the characters to be together. He's put up with his new elven companions well enough
(#29) because he knows that Pzamdriel is capable of unleashing all kinds of arcane hell
(#46), and Artenir.. well, he has to be good at something, he's got all the skill points of an elf, for chrissakes.
Hew is secretly searching for lost dwarven artifacts of great power. Honestly, he'd probably settle for lost elven or human artifacts of great power. If orcs made things of power, Hew probably wouldn't even be opposed to collecting some of those.
The axe Hew wields is cursed, and he loves it. Originally obtained by Shirk and Pzamdriel in Bob
(#88), this weapon shows a small amount of intelligence in that it seems to really not like being smacked into things, and makes its feelings known with distinct, if mild, cuss words
(#224).
