Characters

Chad says 'You da man', but he's lying.
Chad
Chad is a true role-player. This means that he is the most likely to actually haggle with merchants, bicker with politicians, or put up with a long banquet. This also means that he is often the only one doing any of this stuff, while the other characters simply steal the goods, tie the politicians' shoes together, and start food fights.

First Appearance: #1 - May 20, 2002

Artenir also doesn't know why his harp has a skull on it.

Artenir Silvertongue
He's an elf, he's a healer, and he's a bard. Unfortunately, he also is the repeated target of violent misfortune (#35). This is undoubtedly due to the fact that he was not built for combat, and the world knows it.

Artenir has somehow found himself in the unenviable position of unofficial leader of the party, due to the general lack of a coherent thought process among the rest of the group. This is quite unfortunate because he is quite unaware of what his non-elven companions are attempting to accomplish aside from getting themselves violently attacked (#21), which they seem quite adept at on their own. After a fashion, Artenir feels as if he were directing an oliphant with some dental floss and a danish.

Despite the tenuous relationship, Artenir has found himself tied to his companions and has worked for their well-being. Though his bardic performances did not add much to the party coffers (#65), he has been invaluable in saving Pungent's life (#48), and leading everyone out of the suddenly hostile town of Bob (#97).
